The Sri Lanka Reporter is a monthly 116 page newspaper published in Toronto, Canada and circulated across North America.

In 2008, the publication completed 14 years as the Sri Lankan English newspaper with the largest circulation in Canada & U.S.A.

The newspaper is issued free in Canada.

The monthly tabloid has a dedicated staff with extensive experience in the print journalism industry.

Srimal Abeyewardene, Editor of The Sri Lanka Reporter has worked for leading English newspapers in Sri Lanka in a career spanning four decades.

The Sri Lanka Reporter is an independent newspaper and is one of the largest publications in Canada’s ethnic press.

In November 2003, our news stories were highlighted by Canada’s Toronto Star in a feature about the ethnic press.

The Sri Lanka Reporter has won three awards from the National Ethnic Press & Media Council of Canada.The latest award was presented to the editor last September by Ontario Lt. Governor James Bartleman for “Best Editorial and Visual Interpretation.”
